Course Modality

Finger touching virtual screen showing symbols for eLearning.

In this synchronous online learning for the "train the trainer" immersion language learning course, the participants (learners) and the instructor are all actively engaged in the learning process at the same time. This will be through a virtual platform like Zoom, where they can interact live through video, audio, and chat features, allowing for real-time discussions, demonstrations, and Q&A sessions about the language learning methods we have learned, all while being located in different physical locations. This method encourages active engagement through activities like group discussions, role-playing, and practice exercises.

Definition of Terms

Instructor - the person teaching the minicourse

Learners - the language educators taking the course

Students - those being taught by the learners
