Unit 5 ~ Discussion & Assignment Rubrics

The discussion prompt is to choose a cultural product, analyze it  from a critical perspective by discussing its themes, cultural significance, and the messages conveyed.  

This rubric describes the criteria for 5 areas for evaluation:

1. Knowledge of Topic
2. Critical Thinking
3. Participation Expectations
4. Writing Mechanics
5. Timeliness of Submission

There is a total of 20 points with 4 points in each criteria for grading.

The assignment was to find an authentic resource (audio or video), analyze it, and design a listening comprehension activity.
